Is-sinjal għal TFIGĦ TAL-ĠAVELIN għandu żewġ partijiet. L-ewwel, id waħda tieħu l-forma ta‘ ponn laxk, jitla’ mal-ġenb tar-ras, bil-pala tħares lejn il-ġenb. L-id tintefa’ bis-salt ’il quddiem waqt li s-swaba’ jinfetħu. Il-wiċċ jieħu espressjoni ta’ sforz intensiv b’għajnejn imbexxqin. It-tieni parti tas-sinjal isir biż-żewġ idejn. L-ewwel id tinbidel għall-forma ta’ 1 waqt li l-id l-oħra tieqaf bil-pala tħares ’il fuq. Il-werrej tal-ewwel id jinżel bis-salt għal fuq il-pala tal-id il-wieqfa.

The sign for JAVELIN THROWING has two parts. The first part is made with one hand in the shape of a loose fist. It moves up to the side of the face with the palm facing the side. The hand is thrown speedily forward whilst the fingers open up. The facial expression is one of intensity with the eyes narrowing. The second part is made with both hands. The first hand changes smoothly into the sign for 1 whilst the other hand is held stationary with palm facing upwards. The index finger of the first hand moves down quickly onto the palm of the stationary hand.
